In fact, Thunder Seed is a partnership of three Minnesota families — Adams Seed, Petermann Seed and Tobolt Seed — with four generations of experience on the farm. We understand that the best soybean, corn and wheat harvests begin with the seed.

That's why in 1995, even as we continued to farm our own fields, we began developing genetically advanced, high-yield seed for customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and the western Canadian provinces. From generation to generation, we've combined our extensive experience in genetics with the latest innovations to match seed traits to regionally specific demands of climate and soils.
